Asian ethylene soars last week from buying lift

Ethylene prices soared in Asia in the last week ended March 11 from lift in buying interest in the region.

In Korea, average prices surged by US$ 100/ton or 9.90 per cent and were quoted at US$ 1110/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices propelled by US$ 100/ton and were assessed at US$ 1105/ton in the last week, up 9.95 per cent as against its prior week.

In SE Asia, average prices drove up by US$ 65/ton and were offered at US$ 1110/ton in the last week, an increase of 6.22 per cent vis-à-vis its earlier week.

In NE Asia, average prices mounted by US$ 85/ton or 8.13 per cent from its previous week and were spotted at US$ 1130/ton in the last week.

In India, average prices went up by US$ 65/ton and were witnessed at US$ 1110/ton in the last week, up 6.22 per cent as compared to its prior week.
