Asian propylene prices advance last week

Propylene prices surged in Asia in the last week owing to limited product availability in the region.
In Korea, average prices went up by US$ 15/ton, totaling to US$ 865/ton in the last week, an increase of 1.76 per cent over the previous week.
In Japan, average prices soared US$ 50/ton to US$ 895/ton in the last week, up by 5.92 per cent from US$ 845/ton in the week before.
In China, average prices scaled up by US$ 30/ton to US$ 930/ton in the last week as compared to the past week, growth by 3.33 per cent.
In SE Asia, average prices escalated US$ 30/ton over US$ 790/ton in the prior week to US$ 820/ton in the last week.
In India, average prices advanced to US$ 825/ton in the last week, a jump of 4.43 per cent from US$ 790/ton in the preceding week.
