Asian PTA prices rise last week

PTA prices edged up in Asia in the last week with improved buying in the region.
In FE Asia, average prices climbed US$ 10/ton and concluded at US$ 845/ton in the last week, showing a gain of 1.20 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices inched higher by US$ 10/ton and quoted at US$ 855/ton in the last week, after an increase of 1.18 per cent as compared to the prior week.
In India, average prices rose by US$ 5/ton to US$ 860/ton in the last week, a climb of 0.58 per cent over the preceding week.
In China, average prices gained to US$ 840/ton in the last week as against US$ 830/ton in the past week, up by 1.20 per cent.
