Bluesign launches new bluesign system partner area

Bluesign Technologies AG, developer of the bluesign system adopted by worldwide leading textile and accessory manufacturers, has launched the bluesign system partner area to combine all its services within a one-stop service platform. Over 500 companies already benefit from these state-of-the-art applications and the extensive expert knowledge.

The new bluesign system partner area includes the applications bluetool (pat.), bluefinder (pat.), blueXpert, and blueguide.

Furthermore, a multitude of factsheets, guidance sheets, and best practice information is available to implement a chemicals change management based on the systemic input stream management approach.

The bluetool (pat.), a real science portal, serves chemical suppliers as a risk assessment tool to rate chemical products in regards of their environmental impact, occupational health and safety, and consumer safety.

As the first and most comprehensive positive chemicals list, the bluefinder (pat.) supports manufacturers to identify good chemistry and to eliminate hazardous substances from the outset.

Manufacturers can also get access to the blueXpert, a revolutionary resource productivity calculator to optimise their resource productivity. And finally, the blueguide, a growing database of verified components, acts as a sourcing tool for assemblers and brands.

The web-based bluesign applications additionally help as track-and-trace tools for the bluesign system and thus ensure transparency.
