Cambodia yesterday launched the National Single Window (NSW) to facilitate faster and more transparent import-export activities, boost business efficiency, enhance fair competition, reduce costs and improve investment climate.
The NSW is also connected to the ASEAN Single Window for exchanging data and information, Prime Minister Hun Manet said.

The online service allows parties involved in international trade to lodge standardised information and documents with a single entry point to fulfill all import, export and transit-related regulatory requirements, Prime Minister Hun Manet said at the launch event.

“It will reduce costs and provide consistency and certainty to the total process from the start of the regulatory requirements to the clearance of goods,” he was quoted as saying by domestic media reports.

The NSW is also connected to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Single Window for exchanging data and information with other ASEAN member states, he said.

Cambodia’s international trade rose by 12 per cent year on year in the first quarter (Q1) this year, according to the general department of customs and excise.

The country recorded a total trade volume of $12.5 billion during Q1 2024—up by 12 per cent from $11.16 billion over Q1 2023.
