The last two editions were successful and were highly appreciated by the Indian as well as the international denim community. This year’s edition is expected to bring more visitors to the show.
The show will have an interesting trend zone this time again showcasing the latest denim trends, development and innovations. There will be six ‘trend area’ categories—scientific methodology, super flexies, my earth, value fashion, designer stuff, and our primes.
The scientific methodology trend area will have all that is technology driven—anti moisture, anti sweat, heat preserving, biking jeans, extreme wear products, smart fabrics, auto shrink, stain-resistant, hydrophilic, antistatic and wrinkle resistant and shrink proof abilities.
The super flexies trend area will have fabrics which have above 60 per cent stretch and low growth of less than 5 per cent for the new aspirational women of India. This category shows how washes on these products can be sustained.
My Earth will feature 100 per cent organic, BCI cotton products, sustainably washed products with very limited water and chemicals, post-consumer waste products, recycled, products with natural dyes, etc.
Products in value fashion area include those products which are value priced but still fashionable.
Designer stuff (trendy couture) is for elegant designs, creative art work, expression of individualism, and out of the box designs. Highly trendy and works of art would be displayed in this section.
Products which the exhibitors feel are their best offerings and developments will find place in our primes section.
There will also be a Selvedge Denim Wall at the show, where Arvind, Raymonds and Korra Jeans are coming together to provide special privilege to visitors. The Selvedge jeans made from Raymonds and Arvind fabrics customised to size by experts at Korra jeans will be available at super special price. (RKS)
