Ethylene falls in Europe & stays stable in US last week

Ethylene prices fell in Europe in the last week ended September 4 due to bearish product demand in the region.

However, due to firm energy prices in the market, average prices were stable in the US.

In Europe, average prices went down by US$ 30/ton or 2.88 per cent and were quoted at US$ 1010/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In US, average prices were steady and were spotted at 25 cents/pound in the last week, as against its earlier week.
