Euro area sees modest Q2 GDP growth; EU remains steady

  • In Q2 2023, the euro area saw a 0.1 per cent increase in GDP, while the EU remained stable compared to the previous quarter, as per the Eurostat.
  • Compared to the same period last year, the euro area's GDP rose by 0.5 per cent, and the EU experienced a 0.4 per cent growth.
  • Lithuania recorded the highest quarterly GDP growth at 2.9 per cent.
