Extra day at Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles Autumn

The Autumn edition of Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles will be held over four days instead of three in 2016, due to a strong feedback for an extension from exhibitors and buyers.
“The home textiles fair takes place from August 24–27, 2016 and occupies six halls of the newly completed National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai,” a press release from Messe Frankfurt, the organiser said.
International exhibitors will feature in areas for upholstery, bedding & towelling, editors, wallcoverings, carpets & rugs as well as non-textile products.
“The Intertextile Design Boutique area is for original service designs and artwork, while, the Whole-Home Style area and the Digital Printing Zone return again,” Messe Frankfurt added.
Over the last few years, we have had increasingly positive responses regarding a longer show period from both exhibitors and buyers,” Wendy Wen, senior general manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd said.
“Demand in the Chinese market for overseas brands still remains strong and we expect this to remain the case in 2016, which gives us confidence that the extended duration of the fair will prove to be a success,” she too added. (AR)
