FICCI to organise India Exhibition - Lahore next month

The 3^rd edition of India Exhibition – Lahore, a premier trade show in Pakistan covering major industrial sectors including textiles, will be held from February 26-28, 2016 at Expo Centre Lahore, according to a press statement by The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (Texprocil).

India Exhibition will be organised by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), and will display the latest and most advanced products and technologies from India.

It is held to promote bilateral relations between India and Pakistan, and therefore holds economic as well as political importance. It aims to increase the market for Indian products in Pakistan by educating the companies in the country about the same.

The exhibition will be open to the general public, government officials from Pakistan, journalists, importers, Pakistani companies and delegates and industry experts from both the countries. FICCI will facilitate the Visa formalities for the exhibitors and registered delegates.

Asking its members to participate, Texprocil said that a common transport arrangement will be made to enter Pakistan through Wagah Border. (MCJ)
