Fulgar Lanka, founded in 2003 by Fulgar, is providing a benchmark for textile excellence at the Asian market. The company specialises in the production of textured and twisted nylon 6/6 yarns. Fulgar is a leader in the man-made fibre market with the production and distribution of polyamide 6.6 and covered elastomers in the textile and technical sector.

Fulgar Lanka has ten years of experience in developing unique, functional melange effects, and boasts one the widest offers on the market with a production capacity of over 900 tonnes a month and a staff of over two hundred. It is currently present in the most important Asian markets, especially Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, South-East Asia, and China, where it provides rapid service and a full range of assistance services.

Developed on the model of Fulgar Italia, Fulgar Lanka draws inspiration from a series of key concepts - research, innovation, quality and sustainability. An in-house laboratory deals with client needs, and Fulgar Lanka has been awarded Oeko-Tex std 100 class I certification. Its operations also meet ISO 9001 regulatory requirements, according to a Fulgar press release.

The nylon and covered yarns produced by Fulgar Lanka are used in a number of sectors, from seamless to circular knits, flat knits, and weaving. These ingredients are invisible yet fundamental, placing Fulgar at the origins of so many fashion textile success stories in Asia, too. The company’s core products are Evo, Q-Nova, and Nanofibra, as well as blends with other yarns to create melange effects in the best traditions of the company. Their unique performance enables the company’s products to stand out and add value to the yarns.

Fulgar Lanka has an enduring commitment to designing special, high-performance products. These smart fibres are developed to meet the constant stream of new requirements from the market and are intended for a wide range of apparel sectors, providing clear proof of Fulgar Lanka’s expertise and versatility. Its environmental awareness, intense innovative drive, and guarantee of high standards of quality and service mean that Fulgar Lanka is at the forefront of the industry, with its eyes firmly fixed on the future.
