Spring-Summer 2018 sees Gruppocinque present two complementary lines – Gruppocinque and Swing. Gruppocinque was able to find its new style with the 2018 Spring–Summer collection by choosing five areas that include different types of products, named Gruppocinque’s five senses. These areas undergo a process of evolution in every season.

The sensorial and sustainable journey continues with the 2018 S/S collection, with an explosion of colours that make the worlds of art and fabrics meet. Through saturated dyes and references to craftsmanship and traditions even in the most technological creations, the classics are reinterpreted in a brand-new way.

The Nogender area includes the top-choice fabrics for the modern wardrobe, apt for both sexes and the luxury area addresses couture craftsmanship, where embroidered fabrics, jacquard productions and other applications present the beauty of the handmade as a product of the most advanced technologies.

Fluidi & Cotton Evolution are the translation of the corporate know-how in the world of natural fibres: the structures and the armours of historical items are therefore renovated, this time on twisted cotton thread bases mixed with viscose and Cupro. Into the Summer is the contemporary and spontaneous interpretation of Gruppocinque's fabrics, made with natural and innovative fibre mixes.

"We feel the constant need to customise each of our product choices in order to communicate our personality. All this moves Swing towards textile proposals articulated between dynamic craftsmanship, where the chromaticity of the tones and the plasticity of finishing, fully meet the visual and tactile aspect. A refined sportswear in which the product evolution is fast and aesthetics expectation generates excitement," says a Gruppocinque press release.

Fibre is key creative raw material that, together with colouring, dyeing, printing, doubling and finishing, determines the aesthetic. The need to answer to the dynamics of rapidly evolving demand, that makes traditional product types obsolete, generate textile experimentations for proposals with transparent aspects but stiff to the touch, without disdaining opulent metallics and reflective prints.

Gruppocinque's collections succeeded in becoming the market's point of reference in terms of quality, single yarn-dyed plain shuttle-woven fabrics and jacquards. These products are 100 per cent made in Italy and their production process pays particular attention to the latest technologies and to the preservation of the environment.

Emotion and creativity are the assets of Gruppocinque's products along with the guarantee of high quality standards both in the choice of raw materials and throughout the entire production process, which is 100 per cent made in Italy and traceable thanks to a supply chain made of partners of excellence, carefully selected by Gruppocinque.
