ITMA ASIA + CITME 2018 preponed by fortnight

The organisers of ITMA ASIA + CIMTE, the largest textile machinery exhibition in Asia, have preponed the dates for the 2018 edition by nearly a fortnight. The event will now begin in Chinese city of Shanghai on October 15. More than 1,600 exhibitors from around 30 countries are expected to showcase their latest textile innovations at the trade fair.

The event is being organised by The European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers (CEMATEX) and Chinese partners, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT (CCPIT-Tex), China Textile Machinery Association (CTMA) and China Exhibition Centre Group Corporation (CIEC).

"2018 China International Textile Machinery Exhibition (CITME) + ITMA Asia Exhibition will continue to uphold the world's textile machinery manufacturers and customers in the textile industry to provide quality services concept, strong combination, for the global textile machinery manufacturing enterprises and textile industry professionals to create a mutual exchange and common progress platform," said the website of CITME.

The last ITMA ASIA + CITME combined show in 2016 welcomed the participation of 1,673 exhibitors from 28 economies and registered a visitorship of over 100,000 from 102 countries and regions. (RR)
