Tamil Nadu (TN)Government has offered goodies to farmers and weavers in its budget and will impose Value Added Tax (VAT) from next year, which was being demanded by industrialists for long.
K Anbazhagan, State Finance Minister said that a new industrial policy to help sectors like textile and leather would be announced soon.
Under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, a task force is to be set up consisting members of industry and commerce to resolve the issues the industries are facing.
