RIL raises polymer prices

Prices of some polymer products have been raised by Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) yesterday.

The industry sources report increase in prices of Partially Oriented Yarn (POY) from Rs 64.07 to Rs 64.86, up Rs 0.79.

Whereas the prices of Polyester Stable Fibre (PSF) remain unchanged at Rs 65.30 per kg, they said.

They further added that an increase of Rs 0.10 each to Rs 43.90 and Rs 44.80 respectively in the price of Purified Terephthalic acid (PTA) and Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG) has also been effected by the company.

The prices of Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene (PP) have been hiked by Rs 2 each to Rs 57.42 and Rs 59, respectively.

Prices of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and Linear Alkyl Benzene remain unchanged at Rs 38 and Rs 69.30, respectively.
