Japan-based JX Nippon has planned a maintenance shutdown of its naphtha cracker in August 2012.
Providing details to fibre2fashion, a JX Nippon said, “We have planned a maintenance shutdown of our Kawasaki naphtha cracker in mid-August.”
He added, “The cracker which has a production capacity of 260,000 tons per annum, will remain off-stream till the beginning of October”.
He confirmed that the actual shutdown date has still not been finalised.
