In the last week, price of Cotton Linter went up and hovered around RMB 4050/ton to RMB 4250/ton. Market fundamentals remained quite firm; therefore trading offers were in between RMB 4050/ton to RMB 4250/ton. Market maintained firm sentiment during the week and price stayed in the range of RMB 4050/ton to RMB 4300/ton.
Price of dissolving pulp was firm in the previous week and shot up sharply in the range of RMB 8750/ton to RMB 8850/ton in Chinese domestic market. Price of imported dissolving wood pulp was in the range of US$ 1075/ton to US$ 1120/ton. Pulp imported from U.S.A, Canada and Sweden was in the range of US$ 1100/ton to US$ 1130/ton. Counter offers were around US$ 1080/ton to US$ 1110/ton.
Price of VSF price too rose during the week. Producers firmly held their offers around RMB 16200/ton. Earlier in the week, price opened at RMB 16150/ton, but with support of demand fundamentals, trading price rose to RMB 16200/ton. In Chinese market, offers for imported VSF, inclined in the range of US$ 2.20/kg to US$ 2.25/kg.
