India Kids Fashion Week ends on a promising note

The India Kids Fashion Week (IKFW), a foremost initiative to give India's upcoming and highly potential fashion fraternity for kids a platform to showcase their talent and make a mark in the international fashion industry, concluded in Mumbai on a positive note.
In all, 20 brands and designers showcased their collections at the event, which saw participation of about 200 children with permission from their schools and in presence of their parents.
Several Bollywood celebrities also sashayed down the ramp to further inspire children and boost India's position on the map of fashion industry for kids. This included Dia Mirza, Tisca Chopra, Maria Goretti, Genelia D'Souza, and Sohail Khan.
Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen also walked the ramp with her daughters Renee and Alisah at the first edition of IKFW.
Nevaan, singer Sonu Nigam's son, was another celebrity kid who walked the ramp wearing black dhoti and red coat.
Among designers, Payal Singhal presented her Spring Summer flowergirl collection that included ruffled frocks and churidars for girls and sherwanis matched with pyjamas for young boys.
