CCSPET, a 100% Newlife fabric concept developed

CCS digital_fabric GmbH, a pioneering full-service large format digital textile printer providing complete solutions for businesses and retailers, and Awitex, an innovative textile producer, have jointly developed CCSPET, a 100% Newlife fabric ideal for water-based digital printing solutions for retail spaces.
The use of Newlife, an innovative and sustainable prime material has enabled CCS and Awitex to develop a unique product that retains the high-quality, performance and benefits of the existing product range while delivering a more sustainable product that saves up to 43600 litres of water and three tons of CO2 emissions per ton of yarn produced compared to traditional production.
The CCSPET Newlife solution platform includes pin-sharp graphics, excellent color vibrancy on large printed surfaces and superior output quality comparable to paper, foil or photochemical products with even better contrast performance. CCSPET Newlife brings retail spaces to life with evocative and powerful imagery. Additional application benefits include noise reducing textile surfaces, non-reflecting even when exposed to bright light, fade-resistant, flame-resistant according to DIN 4102 B1 and easy handling and changing of prints.
“Following an initial introduction phase earlier this year, we have now switched our entire reflective pictures production to Newlife fabrics.” says Peter Zöller, managing director of CCS digital_fabric GmbH. “We are proud to be able to deliver the same quality, at the same price, with the added benefit of providing our customers with a product such as Newlife that enhances their environment balance without compromising on performance.”
Thanks to the cooperation with CCS Digital Fabric it has been possible to realize the outer window panel of Filature Miroglio group at Heimtextil, completely made with Newlife. Newlife is a unique, certified yarn platform engineered from 100% post consumer bottles. It is sourced, processed and spun into yarn exclusively made in Italy in a mechanical process, not a chemical one.
The Newlife process is the first of its kind as it boasts a unique supply chain approach and offers an extensively high-caliber portfolio including fashion, sportswear, underwear, technical, work wear and furnishing textile. Newlife also offers a full branding and communication package for its partners. Newlife is a completely recycled polyester yarn system that offers a wide range of applications and powerful performance options.
Newlife is a technologically innovative platform that uses well established know-how coupled with a strong research mission and a system-wide proprietary process.
