Chinese PTA imports in December 2011 were marginally down from November, but were up from a year earlier.
China imported 483,100 tons of PTA in December 2011, down 14,000 tons from November, but increased 39,700 tons year on year, according to statistics.
The average price in December imports was US $1,061 / ton, a decline of 6.66 percent from November and 9.83 percent from a year ago.
