Uzbekistan keen to expand trade ties with Iran

Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Commerce said Uzbekistan's Ambassador to Tehran Ilham Akramov, in a meeting with Minister of Commerce, Masoud Mir-Kazemi called for expansion of mutual trade relations and strengthening of relations.
The Ambassador hoped that Kazemi's visit to Tashkent recently would bring out positive results in cementing the ties between the two countries.
Iranian minister highlighted the cultural and social backgrounds of the two countries, particularly amongst Islamic states, but within guide principles of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
Mir-Kazemi assessed Expansion of ties in the commercial sector, railway transport, technical, engineering services,and the growing investment of Iranian tradesmen were termed as positive by the Minister
