Samsung PX plant to go off-stream in April

A paraxylene (PX) plant managed by Samsung Total Petrochemicals will undergo a turnaround in the second quarter of 2012.
The PX plant based in Daesan – South Korea will be taken off-stream from April 3 till May 10, 2012 under a maintenance schedule, a Samsung official informed fibre2fashion.
The Daesan plant has a PX production capacity of 600,000 tons per annum.
