Chinese yarn production shot up in February from a year earlier and also from the previous month.
Yarn output touched 2.369 million tons in February 2012, up 48 million tons or 25.41 percent year on year.
It also increased by 295,000 tons or 14.22 percent from the previous month.
In the first two months of 2012, Chinese yarn production reached 4.443 million tons, a rise of 12.80 percent from a year ago.
From September 2011 to February 2012, it grew to 15.192 million tons, an increase of 14.44 percent year on year.
