Indonesia attracts heavy investments from Asian countries

Asian countries have proved to be substantial investors in Indonesia in 2005, observed Chairman Muhammad Lutfi of Indonesian Coordinating Investment Board (BKPM).
Heavy investment came from South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, China and Japan, he informed.
The economy of Indonesia is expected to grow at a faster pace due to these investments, said the Chairman.
South Korea took one of the top positions as leading foreign investor in Indonesia.
Heavy investments from European investors are awaited, he cited.
