Global benzene market mainly under consolidation

In recent days, benzene market is mainly under consolidation, while intraday benzene market slightly fell on Wednesday, import volume has gradually decreased and number of profit taking positions has reduced.
Asian benzene closed down by US $1.50 yesterday. July cargo was traded at US $1,174 / ton (FOB Korea), buyer's intention for May cargo increased from US $1,165 / ton to $1,171 / ton (FOB Korea).
European benzene prices rose. April cargo and May cargo were discussed in the range of $1170-1185 / ton (CIF ARA) in the morning and transactions were made at $1180 / ton.
Negotiation level continued to rise and deals were also transacted at $1,190/ ton, transaction levels of May cargo reached $1,200/ton. Prices of May cargo continued to increase to $1,205/ ton in the afternoon. June cargo was discussed in the range of $1190-1215 / ton.
US benzene trends rose 3 cents on April 18. April cargo was discussed in the range of 409-415 cents / gallon (DDP USG) and May cargo was discussed in the range of 408-413 cents / gallon.
In the Chinese domestic market, market transactions in East China was in the range of 8,500-8,550Yuan / ton, in South China it was around 8,400-8,600 Yuan / ton and in North China it was in the range of 8,500-8,500 Yuan / ton.
