China's spot market of PTA imports was light on May 9. Market offers for Taiwan supply were in the range of US $1150-1155 / ton, downstream manufacturers bid around $1140 / ton; actual negotiation was in the range of $1145-1150 / ton.
Market offers for Korean goods were in the range of $1140-1145/ ton, downstream manufacturers bid in the range of $1135-1140 / ton, actual negotiation was around $1140 / ton.
China's PTA market in North China softened on May 9. Trading atmosphere was light in and actual trade appeared scarce.
Market offers were around 8700 Yuan / ton, bids from downstream manufacturers were around 8600 Yuan / ton and actually negotiated price was about 8650 Yuan / ton.
In East China market offers from cargo holders were around 8650 Yuan / ton, bids from downstream manufacturers were around 8600 Yuan / ton, actually negotiated price was about 8600 Yuan / ton.
