The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) announced designers Suneet Varma, Masaba and Varun Bahl's special collections to be showcased at the upcoming music-cum-fashion extravaganza 'Grey Goose Presents IIFA Rocks' in Singapore.

The high-end event which is one of the key initiatives showcased at the Videocon IIFA Weekend will be held on June 8th, the second day of the IIFA Celebrations in Singapore this year. IIFA Rocks brings to the ramp a night of glamour, glitz and entertainment – a coming together of the best in Indian fashion and music!

Grey Goose presents IIFA Rocks is a music-cum-fashion fashion extravaganza held annually showcasing leading avant garde Indian designers. Leading models from India and the host nation grace the ramp alongside the musical talent from India. Film stars are show stoppers for their favorite designers. This year, IIFA Rocks! will showcase three talented Indian designers – Masaba, Suneet Varma and Varun Bahl.

The original, "IIFA by Masaba", is being showcased at IIFA Rocks! Created by the nouveau designer, it is a chic fusion wear line with strong Indian elements - the colour palette and imagery of the collection is inspired by the IIFA logo and brand world. Keeping the glamour quotient in mind, Masaba will unveil a special collection which has been conceptualised and inspired by the colors of IIFA. The designs would be avant garde drawing inspiration from the 'Sun'.

Designer Masaba, said, “I am glad to be part of IIFA Rocks this year and I am sure it will help me reach out to a diverse set of audiences and cultures. Inspired by IIFA, my collection is a chic fusion wear line with strong Indian elements. It has a youthful vibe and is aimed at the contemporary Indian woman who has a strong sense of style and is modern in her sensibilities yet veryrooted to her aesthetics and culture. It is indeed going to be a special experience since it brings together the best of music and fashion.”

GreyGoose's association with famed designer Varun Bahl, showcases his collection that has been inspired by the world of Grey Goose. The world's best tasting Vodka, Grey Goose crafts four cocktails each inspired from exotic locations - Paris-France, Tokyo-Japan, Madrid-Spain and Bombay-India which inspires Varun's collection for IIFA ROCKS 2012.

Gitanjali Group in partnership with Gemfields, will be unveiling Envi by Gitanjali while showcasing “The Eternal Lightness of Being' by Suneet Verma”. Envi is an exquisite collection of high-end jewellery studded with emeralds, exuding a regal charm and allure. At IIFA ROCKS 2012, Suneet Verma's 25th anniversary celebrations come alive with his Spring Couture 2012 collection - 'The eternal lightness of being- to love, to hold, to kiss', a light, airy and effortlessly feminine couture line that is graceful, versatile and elegant.
