Chinese output of yarns and fabrics grew in double digits in the first four months of 2012, from a year earlier.
Between January and April 2012, production of yarn products reached 9.6626 million tons, up 15 percent over the same period last year.
April output of yarn products marked 2.636 million tons, an increase of 14.44 percent compared with April 2011.
In January to April 2012, output of fabric products realized 18.758 billion meters, a rise of 12.83 percent from a year earlier.
Production of fabrics in April fetched 5.159 billion meters, an increase of 11.36 percent from the same time last year.
