PTA prices went up in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices increased and were offered in the range of US$ 935/ton to US$ 940/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 930/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 920/ton to US$ 925/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained stable and were offered in the range RMB 7100/ton to RMB 7150/ton.
Ethylene prices showed a mixed trend in the Asian market. In S E Asian region, Ethylene prices surged up and were offered in the range of US$ 930/ton to US$ 935/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained stable and were offered at US$ 855/ton. In U.S.A market, Ethylene prices went down and were quoted in the range of 44.00 cents/pound to 44.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices stayed stable in European international and domestic market, and were witnessed at US$ 1055/ton and € 835/ton, respectively.
MEG prices followed a mixed trend in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices went up and were assessed at US$ 840/ton. In China market, MEG prices declined in the range of US$ 830/ton to US$ 835/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG prices inched up and were quoted in the range RMB 6375/ton to RMB 6425/ton.
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip prices stayed steady and were offered at RMB 9000/ton.
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1180/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In Indian market, FOB based price were quoted in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 8575/ton to RMB 8625/ton.
PSF prices declined in the Asian region. In F E Asian market, PSF prices went down to US$ 1350/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were at US$ 1250/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF prices plunged down and were quoted in the range of RMB 9500ton to RMB 9550/ton.
In Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY went down and were assessed at RMB 9600/ton, while prices of DTY and FDY remained steady and were offered at RMB 11000/ton and RMB 9400/ton respectively. In export market, offers for POY declined and were offered at US$ 1280/ton, while offers for DTY and FDY remained stable and were witnessed at US$ 1460/ton, and US$ 1235/ton respectively.
