Asian PX, PTA and MEG prices climb on July 4

PX Asian prices rose by US $25 to $1282 per ton, PTA grew by $10 to $992 per ton and ethylene trends increased to $957 per ton, up $25 from yesterday.

MEG prices climbed $15 to $887 per ton on July 4. Asian PSF trends also mounted by $15 to $1395 per ton. BGPET chips remained stable at $1310 per ton.

In the Chinese domestic market, polyester POY, DTY and FDY stayed steady and were quoted at RMB 9600 per ton, RMB 11000 per ton and RMB 9400 per ton, respectively.

In the China US dollar market, polyester POY, DTY and FDY also remained stable and were assessed at $1279 per ton, $1463 per ton and $1235 per ton, respectively.
