'Preview in Seoul 2012' expo to promote Korean textiles

Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI- Chairman Hee Chan Ro) is recruiting high-tech textile enterprises for the ‘Preview in Seoul 2012’. ‘Preview in Seoul 2012,’ which will be held from September 5th through the 7th on the first floor B Hall at COEX, was first established in 2000. ‘Preview in Seoul’ is a leading exhibition that promotes domestic textile exports and international trade in Korea.

Preview in Seoul celebrates its 13th exhibition with a concept called ‘Trans New’: a new transition for the sustainable future.

The exhibition themes include: TRANS NATURE (a mixture of inner essence and the nature), TRANS DIMENSION (transcendence of the past and the present), TRANS SEDUCTION (communication between the Eastern and the Western cultures), and TRANS FUTURE (high-tech features and unrestricted ideas). These concepts attempt to express a new breakthrough in the textile industry.

In order to make ‘Preview in Seoul 2012’ a global, high-tech textile exhibition, KOFOTI is recruiting and is expanding international groups that participate in ‘Premiere Vision’ and ‘Texworld’. “At the same time, KOFOTI endeavors to introduce and highlight multi-function and eco-friendly textiles to lead the prospective textile industries.

KOFOTI is planning to provide a wide range of business opportunities through an organized Trend Forum, management consulting in regard to the effects of Korea-EU and Korea-U.S. FTA, and Daegu Dong-Dae-Moon Marketing Center.

Domestic companies, Germany, England, China, Indonesia, Pakistan, Taiwan, and other countries are applying to participate in the exhibition. In particular, German automobile, health care, airway, environment-friendly filter, and security companies are planning to participate in the exhibition to show the up-to-date technology. A global interest among many industrial textile manufacturers and the relevant companies is augmenting.

Through professional agents such as Shanghai International Trade Promotion Co. and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), KOFOTI endeavors to attract foreign exhibitors and buyers in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong.

Moreover, in order to expand the interest and the participation of the U.S. and the European buyers, an active marketing promotion has increased throughout North America and Europe. The range of participating buying-offices has expanded through an invitation of the representatives from the international headquarters for individual meetings with the buyers and the exhibitors.
