Elena V Designs to present two runway shows during NYFW

Ready-to-Wear Collection, Spring 2013, inspired by modern-day Barcelona, the Spanish Modernist Movement, Gaudy Architecture, and provocative Dali, with a connection to the eternal concept of nature.

Elena V’s Ready-To-Wear is a radiant, stylish line for the fun loving, young and young at heart woman, enthusiastically living the busy city lifestyle. Collection will be presented on September 12, 2012 at 7pm at the Ukrainian Museum (222 East 6th St., New York, NY 10003)

Capsule Collection, Spring 2013 inspired by Aphrodite, the ethereal beauty and icon of female sexuality. “Memoirs of Aphrodite” eveningwear collection is especially sacrosanct, representing feminine power expressed through the ages – from the Biblical creation of humanity, through ancient mythology, up until modern times, will be presented on September 7, 2012 at 7pm at the Gershwin Hotel theater (7 East 27th St., New York, NY 10016).

Market Week for Elena V Designs Spring 2013 collections will be open to the buyers and press September 17, 18, 19, 20 from 10 am – 6 pm.

Elena Vasilevsky, designer and founder of Elena V Designs, was born in Ukraine and raised in New York. Elena graduated the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Her creative vision is shaped greatly by her cultural background, and diverse experience, as a classical pianist, fashion designer, a curator of surrealist Ukrainian-Russian art and her love and mastery of Latin dance.  

Elena V Designs’ conceptual mixture of patterns and textures, combined with asymmetric silhouettes and fine craftsmanship, define her brand.  The designer’s collections resonate with exquisite attention to fit and detail, artistic concept and luxurious style and quality.
