Minor fire at IPI Rayong polyester factory

Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited informed that a minor fire started on the roof of the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) section at IPI Rayong which was extinguished within fifteen minutes.
This section has been temporarily closed to investigate the cause and for cleaning operations. All other sections in the plant are running normally.
There is no material damage to any of the assets or production line.
The Indorama Polyester Industries Map Ta Phut polyester facility (IPI Rayong) is located in Map Ta Phut, Thailand, and has an aggregate installed capacity of 252,000 tonnes per annum, comprising two production lines.
