Global toluene prices witness mixed trends

In Asia, Toluene prices went up in Korea and Japan in the last week. Prices gained in line with higher upstream product prices.
Speculators assessed the spot prices in the range of US$ 1120-1135/ton (FOB Korea) and US$ 1130-1140/ton CFR Japan. In S.E. Asia prices were stable at US$ 1150-1155/ton (CFR SE Asia).
In Europe, Toluene prices too went up in the last week. Strong buying trends in the region allowed sellers to steer their spot offer prices higher. Firm prices of Toluene in Asia also supported the price rise in Europe. Prices were witnessed in the range of US$ 1205-1230/ton (FOB Rotterdam) during the week.
However, in the US, Toluene prices went down and were assessed at 410-415 (cents/gallon) (FOB US).
