Greek firms keen to promote apparels in Israel

In order to boost Greek apparel exports to Israel, Hellenic Fashion Industry Association (SEPEE), the main representative of the apparel and textile industry in Greece will hold the third exposition of its apparel and textile firms in Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel on November 13, 2012.
The first exhibition of the series, demonstrating only Greek brands to the Israeli market, was held in December last year, while the second exhibition, showcasing Greek private label firms, was organized in March this year.
Around 100 Israeli businessmen placed orders at the two expos.
Being jointly organized by the Greek Office for Commercial and Economic Affairs in Israel, SEPEE and the Israeli chamber of Commerce, the third expo would be a fusion, featuring brands as well as private labels. It would also extend a platform for several trade meetings between entrepreneurs from the two nations.
SEPEE has asked Greek textile and clothing firms eager to participate in the November event to register by September 12.
