Governments of Turkey and China are discussing Turkey's decision to impose quotas on Chinese textiles, reports Turkish media.
Turkish Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade and Chinese Trade Ministry will negotiate the issue for two days.
Turkey has covered 44 product categories of Chinese textile under the quotas in 2006. Justifying its action, Turkish government said that the decision was taken considering the rights granted by the WTO agreements.
Turkish sources revealed that the quotas do not check Chinese imports.
