MEG, PTA & PX prices increase in Asia

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices went up in the range of US$ 1595/ton to US$ 1600/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1590/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market surged and were offered in the range of US$ 1595/ton to US$ 1600/ton.
 
PTA prices surged in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices increased in the range of US$ 1140/ton to US$ 1145/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1140/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market went up in the range of US$ 1115/ton to US$ 1120/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices declined in the range of RMB 8475/ton to RMB 8525/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices increased in the range of US$ 1300/ton to US$ 1305/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1290/ton. 
 
In the US market, Ethylene prices remained unchanged in the range of 57.00 cents/pound to 57.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept steady in European international and domestic markets at US$ 1400/ton and € 1205/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices surged in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices went up and were offered at US$ 1150/ton. In China market, MEG prices surged in the range of US$ 1135/ton to US$ 1140/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices declined in the range of RMB 8600/ton to RMB 8625/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices continued to be stable in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices were steady at RMB 10750/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices kept steady and were assessed in the range of RMB 10525/ton to RMB 10575/ton.
 
PSF prices were stable in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1540/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were assessed at US$ 1440/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were steady in the range of RMB 11300/ton to RMB 11350/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained unchanged and were assessed at RMB 11550/ton, RMB 12700/ton and RMB 11450/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY kept stable and were quoted at US$ 1565/ton, US$ 1710/ton and US$ 1535/ton, respectively.
