Vietnam has finally decided to join WTO, said Luong Van Tu, Deputy Minister of Trade, Vietnam after negotiations with New Zealand.
The signing ceremony for the finalization of negotiations is to take place today in Hanoi.
The good news comes several days after Vietnam made significant development in negotiations with the US.
In the last few years, Vietnamese imports dominated its exports to New Zealand as the total export turnover of Vietnamese exports amounted to US $25 million from the total imports stood at $17 billion.
Vietnam imports dairy products, wood, and tanned leather from New Zealand, and exports footwear, interior products, porcelain and apparel.
