Bangalore Fashion Week's World Tour to begin from Bangkok

The first-ever edition of Bangalore Fashion Week - World Tour, an international event that aims to promote Indian fashion at various Indian-fashion-friendly locations in the world, is going to take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from March 22 to 24, 2013.

Showcasing designs by nearly thirty Indian and Thai designers, the three-day-long soiree will feature 20 star studded fashion shows where the high-profile glitterati from both nations will walk on the runways as showstoppers.

Serving as an opportunity for the fashion designers and clothing manufacturers to network and foster business relationships with international institutional buyers, the event will display fashion and accessories from over 100 exhibitors.

Indian fashion designers like Amrita Kanchan, Kartick Kapoor, Kolkata-based Abhishek Dutta and four-time winner of ‘National Film Awards for Best Costume Design’ Neeta Lulla will feature their latest collections at the event.

Organized by India-based event management company Dream Merchants, the tour is an extension of Bangalore Fashion Week (BFW), which is a premier fashion event in India, conceived and created with a vision to highlight the best of Indian fashion industry to the world.
