Gorvernment to organize textile industry with modern machinery

Mushtaq Ali Cheema, the Federal Minister for Textile Industry announced that the Pakistani government has purchased textile and garment machinery worth USD five billion to accelerate surplus of cotton and yarn production upto 70% and to enhance concerned assignments.
At the second stage of IGATEX exhibition showcasing machinery at Expo Center Cheema seems to be positive on the purchase of new machinery to gain substantial admission into the global markets.
Cheema informed that Government is not only supporting for textile and garment sector but also to raise exports to the global markets with the proficient help of Export Promotion Bureau.
Minister announced that textile industry authorities will set up textile and garment city in Karachi at worth Rs 11bn. The city would assist to raise the graph of exports vertical and will gernerate huge job opportunities.
Cheema promises for all support needed to develop textile and garment sector and valued their proposal in modernizing industrial capacity. He also ensured for quality and expansion to enhance exports from the country to around the globe.
Prime Minsiter Shaukat Aziz opines that the government is fully committed to develop commercial activity for the Pakistani manufacturing sector and to seek better chance for exportable items and it will extend every support to textile and garment manufacturers.
