Taiwan, China and Korea are Vietnam's top fibre suppliers

Taiwan, China and Korea were the top fibre exporting countries to Vietnam's textile and garment industries, reveal latest statistics.
Taiwan took the top exporting nation honors to Vietnam b exporting 7953 tons in December while for the entire year the amount reached 100,149 tons. The repsctive figures in terms of Dollar value stood at US $11,516,273 for December 2005 while it was $148,147,895 for the entire year.
As for December 2005, Malaysia stood second in terms of fibre exports to Vietnam exporting 2,652 tons ahead of Korea, which stood third at 2,066 tons in December 2005.
Total fibre imports from the top three exporting nations that is Taiwan, China and Korea for the year 2005 stood at $148,147,895, 51,481,150 and 39,725,346, respectively.
