Expofil unveils info & trends for fashion sector professionals

EXPOFIL took place during February 21 top 24, 2006. It stated that for four days, over 50,000 textile and fashion professionals gathered in Paris for Première Vision Pluriel.

On site, they confirmed the pertinence of the salon's unique product offer, a result of 5 highly complementary salons showing together: Expofil, Première Vision, Le Cuir à Paris, Indigo and Mod'Amont.

The February 2006 session brought together, in an area spanning over 115,000 sq. meters, some 1,332 exhibitors of interest to all professions of the fashion sector.

Most notably, some 7,200 sq. meters dedicated to Fashion Information and trends provided visitors with inspiration, allowing them to decode the major creative directions in terms of colours and fabrics, patterns and accessories, intended for their future collections.

Le Cuir à Paris and Indigo, which had enlarged their offer thanks to a significant increase in their number of exhibitors (+24% for Le Cuir à Paris and +7% for Indigo), both recorded strong increases in visitor numbers.

In a complex economic context, and in spite of a particularly difficult calendar (with fashion shows in Italy, seasonal holidays in Germany and in Asia, etc.) Expofil, Première Vision and Mod'Amont maintained their international attraction, with visitors from some 106 different countries.
