Ghana trade fair evokes mixed response

The 10th Ghana International Trade Fair attracted 700 local and 100 foreign participants including from Spain, Italy, Egypt, Nigeria, Mali and Benin bringing forth, mixed reactions from exhibitors.
Some exhibitors termed the fair successful whereas others said low patronage was all pervading that presented limited business opportunity for companies to exploit.
Few local exhibitors complained about some pavilions appearing like entertainment areas with music.
Ghana Trade Fair Company (GTFC) authorities must not allow such areas within the pavilions.
Some exhibitors were able encash as they were aware of the Ghanians tastes.
Whereas other believed that they would participate in future fairs as sales alone is not the only determining factor because taking part and establishing business contacts with foreign participants has its own importance.
