Chinese President Hu Jintao promises opening of markets with global vision for 2020

By the year 2020, China's economy will grow $4 trillion bestowing a per capita income of $3000 for China's 1.3 billion people by 2020, compared to about $1230 at present.
This was announced by Chinese President Hu Jintao at the Fortune Global Forum in Beijing, yesterday as he spelled out developmental plans and aspirations of the giant nation.
According economic development top priority, Hu revealed the 2020 gross domestic product target at $4 trillion which would place China besides Japan, which currently is the second-largest economy ($4.1 trillion) behind the United States ($10 trillion).
Significantly, Hu never mentioned the US capping of textile exports and the trade row with the EU during his well attended speech.
