Marking celebration of 25 successful years in the fashion industry, one of the UK’s most successful fashion brand ‘Jenny Packham’ hosted a series of ramp shows at the Victoria & Albert (V&A) Museum in London.

The event forming a part of the historic museum’s ‘Fashion In Motion’ series, featured 45 most iconic pieces designed by Ms. Packham during her career. On show was a full length tulle dress with cutaway black lace modelled by Erin O’Connor for the Autumn/Winter 2005 Collection, a shocking pink silk chiffon dress from Spring/Summer 2009 range and other silhouettes and red carpet gowns donned and adored by Hollywood stars and Royalty alike.

The catwalk also featured a white gown with sparkling bodice and sleeves, and squared off, almost armour-like shoulders and full Swarovski crystal train, specially designed to grace the occasion.

The brand, established by designer Jenny Packham in 1988, is known for bridal gowns and ready-to-wear collections.

The brand also offers resort and lingerie collections and a range of accessories at its flagship stores in Paris, New York and London and also at some of the world’s most discerning stores like Bergdorf Goodman, Harvey Nichols and Neiman Marcus.

To focus on the commemoratory event, Ms. Packham took a break from preparing a ready-to-wear line that she would be featuring at upcoming New York Fashion Week in September.

The V&A Fashion In Motion Series is an event that hosts ramp shows by world’s leading fashion designers with an aim to show fashion in movement. Designers like Ozwald Boateng, Giles Deacon, Erdem, Jean Paul Gaultier, Roksanda Ilincic, Christian Lacroix, Alexander McQueen, Missoni, Gareth Pugh, Vivienne Westwood and Yoji Yamamoto have earlier displayed in this series.
