A range of young and experienced designers from Zimbabwe and other African countries are gearing up to showcase their freshest creations at the fourth edition of Zimbabwe Fashion Week.

Scheduled to take place from August 29 to 31, 2013, the event aims to boost and revive the country’s once-thriving textile and fashion industry by providing a promotional platform for Zimbabwean designers and artists.

Themed as ‘Fashion Through The Ages’, the soiree will also pay tribute to the centuries of creativity and artistic endeavour that stand today as the most significant symbols of the Zimbabwean national identity.

Popular labels like Lon Crae, Alpha Rose, Mucha, Gilded Sands, Czeerat and Countess K will present their avant-garde apparel ranges at the three-day-long soiree.

Slated to be held in the country’s capital city of Harare, the event is expected to attract a homogenous mixture of fashion enthusiasts, designers, models, buyers, corporate entertainers, exhibitors and fashion forward creative minds from all over the world.
