FG PET Chips prices remain stable in Korean market

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices dipped and were quoted in the range of US$ 1510/ton to US$ 1515/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1495/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1520/ton to US$ 1525/ton.      
       
PTA prices surged in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA price increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1080/ton to US$ 1085/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1085/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1070/ton to US$ 1075/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7775/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices swelled in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1355/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the Far East Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1230/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of 55.00 cents/pound to 55.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices increased in the European international and domestic market, and were quoted at US$ 1480/ton and €1185/ton, respectively.     
 
MEG prices surged in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices increased and were assessed at US$ 1105/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices maintained a steady trend and were quoted in the range of US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1090/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained stable and assessed in the range of RMB 8025/ton to RMB 8075/ton.
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices maintained a steady trend in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1480/ton, and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1470/ton. In the Far East Asian market, selling offers remained unchanged at US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1470/ton, while talked prices were between US$ 1430/ton and US$ 1450/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained stable and were assessed at RMB 10200/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1280/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices maintained a steady trend in the range of US$ 1300/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 9600/ton to RMB 9650/ton.
 
PSF prices maintained a steady trend in Asian markets. In the Far East Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1520/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of RMB 10300/ton to RMB 10350/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained stable at RMB 10750/ton, RMB 12250/ton, and RMB 10800/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY maintained a steady trend at US$ 1500/ton, US$ 1705/ton, and US$ 1495/ton, respectively.
