PX prices decline in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices plunged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1505/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1480/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market dipped and were assessed in the range of US$ 1515/ton to US$ 1520/ton.
 
PTA prices decreased in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1075/ton to US$ 1080/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1075/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1075/ton to US$ 1080/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7775/ton.
 
Ethylene prices maintained a steady trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1355/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the Far East Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1230/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of 55.00 cents/pound to 55.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained unchanged in the European international and domestic market, and were quoted at US$ 1480/ton and €1185/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices maintained a steady trend and were quoted at US$ 1105/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1095/ton to US$ 1100/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of RMB 8025/ton to RMB 8075/ton.
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices swelled and were assessed in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1490/ton, and some deals were discussed between US$ 1440/ton and US$ 1480/ton. In the Far East Asian market, selling offers increased and were quoted at US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1480/ton, while talked prices were between US$ 1440/ton and US$ 1470/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged and were quoted at RMB 10200/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1260/ton to US$ 1290/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1310/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of RMB 9600/ton to RMB 9650/ton.
 
PSF prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the Far East Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1520/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of RMB 10300/ton to RMB 10350/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY maintained a steady trend at RMB 10750/ton, RMB 12250/ton, and RMB 10800/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices for POY, DTY, and FDY remained stable at US$ 1500/ton, US$ 1705/ton, and US$ 1495/ton, respectively.
