Sub-sector wise the IPI declined in manufacturing of fashion apparel by 28.2 percent year-on-year, for the month of August, in the knitted garments sector by 26.9 percent year-on-year, the preparation of spinning textile fibers dipped by 23.9 percent, manufacture of other textiles fell by 14 percent, and manufacture of wearing apparel, except fur, declined by 10.2 percent year-on-year.
