PX prices plunge in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices dipped in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1405/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1380/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market decreased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1415/ton to US$ 1420/ton.
 
PTA prices plunge in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 995/ton to US$ 1000/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 995/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market decreased and were assessed in the range of US$ 995/ton to US$ 1000/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 7400/ton to RMB 7450/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained unchanged in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1460/ton to US$ 1465/ton. In the Far East Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1365/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices maintained a steady trend and were quoted in the range of 46.50 cents/pound to 47.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained unchanged in the European international as well as domestic market and were assessed at US$ 1295/ton and €1010/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices dipped in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices were quoted at US$ 1062/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices plunged and were quoted in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7775/ton. 
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton, and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1390/ton. In the Far East Asian market, selling offers remained unchanged at US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1400/ton, while talked prices were between US$ US$ 1360/ton and US$ 1390/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips price decreased and were assessed at RMB 9475/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1300/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices plunged and were quoted in the range of RMB 9000/ton to RMB 9050/ton.
 
PSF prices remained unchanged in Asian markets. In the Far East Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1505/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1405/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices maintained a steady trend and were quoted in the range of RMB 9800/ton to RMB 9850/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY decreased and were assessed at RMB 10025/ton, while prices of DTY and FDY remained unchanged at RMB 12025/ton, RMB 10225/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices of POY declined and were quoted at US$ 1395/ton, while prices of DTY and FDY remained stable and were assessed at US$ 1675/ton and US$ 1410/ton, respectively.
